About Us
Bebek Development Company (BDC) is a broad-based real estate investment and development company founded by John W. Bebek III. Mr. Bebek has over 20 years of real estate and construction experience. Based in San Juan Capistrano, California, BDC focuses its efforts on creating value through the entitlement, development, design, and marketing and sale of assets within the coastal California markets.
Prior to forming BDC, Mr. Bebek was a Director of Land Acquisitions in the Southern California division of Pulte Group. Mr. Bebek was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, investment structure, due diligence, legal management, and investment presentations on potential acquisitions. These acquisitions range from infill development to master planned communities totaling over 6,000 lots at over $650 million. Pulte group is the nation’s third largest homebuilder in the United States.
Prior to joining Pulte Group Mr. Bebek was a Vice President at Isles Ranch Partners. Isles Ranch Partners was a private equity real estate investment group headquartered in Newport Beach with over $600 million of invested equity and over 10,000 residential units ranging from urban midrise construction to master planned communities. Mr. Bebek was responsible for the acquisition and management of all assets west of the Rocky Mountains.
Mr. Bebek also has significant engineering contracting and construction experience working form an early age in the family’s third generation engineering contractor firm. Mr. Bebek received a BA from Loyola Marymount in history & business and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a licensed California General Engineering Contractor (A License).
